The hatchback combo of Baleno and Swift are two other cars from Maruti Suzuki positioned in the second and third spot respectively in January 2020. The Baleno premium hatchback sold 20,485 units last month, compared to 16,717 units recorded in the same month a year ago.
On the other hand, Swift registered 19,981 units last month, compared with 18,795 units sold in January 2019.

Source: SIAMMaruti Suzuki's entry-level hatchback Alto sold 18,914 units in January 2020 to be at the fourth position, compared with 23,360 units sold in the same month of 2019, when it was the top seller. The new WagonR has recorded 15,232 units in January 2020 to be at the fifth spot, compared with 10,048 units sold in January 2019.
South Korean Kia Seltos that broke into the top 10 list in late 2019, was back again in the list after giving it a miss in December 2019. The SUV registered 15,000 units in January 2020 and positioned at the sixth spot. Maruti Suzuki Eeco was at the seventh spot last month with 12,324 units recorded.
Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza was positioned at the eighth spot with 10,134 units sold last month, compared with 13,172 units sold in the same month a year ago, when it was at fifth spot.
Hyundai Grand i10 was positioned at the ninth spot with 8,774 units sold in January 2020, while a year ago it recorded 10,285 units. Another Hyundai model Elite i20 was at the tenth spot in the list in January 2020, with 8,137 units sold. It registered 11,749 units in January 2019.
