Murray will be reporting to the CEO, Mahesh Babu and will be based out in Bengaluru.
He is responsible for product and project engineering, mobility solutions, and program management at Mahindra Electric.
Prior to joining Mahindra Electric, Murray ran his own consulting firm in EV space known as Murray EV consultants.
Earlier, he has worked with General Motors Corporation for over 30 years heading diverse global teams.He comes with rich experience in the electric vehicle domain as he has been spearheading EV projects since 2004 in various functional domains such as Energy Storage, Electronics, Drivetrain, etc.
At General Motors he led Chevrolet BOLT propulsion system overall global cross-functional execution teams, AV propulsion, electric propulsion commercialization, and worked on China localization strategy.
He has worked in different markets like Japan, Korea, and China with General Motors.
He holds a BS degree in Mechanical engineering from Missouri University of Science and Technology and an MBA from Middle Tennessee State University.
