New Delhi: Motorcycle major Bajaj Auto on Tuesday reported a growth of 7% in domestic two-wheeler sales at 1,88,196 units in November 2020.

The company had sold 1,76,337 two-wheelers in the domestic market in the same month last year.

Two-wheeler exports surged 18% to 1,96,797 units in the month of November as against 1,67,109 units in November 2019.

In the commercial vehicle segment, the company suffered a major setback registering a decline of 66% in the domestic market. The automaker sold 10,737 units in November 2020 as against 31,438 units in the corresponding month last year.

While Bajaj Auto's commercial vehicle exports declined 6% to 26,510 units in the outgoing month as compared to 28,339 units exported in November 2019.

The company's strong performance on the exports front managed to bring the overall sales in the positive territory while the domestic market is picking up slowly.

Bajaj Auto's total sales (domestic+exports) grew 5% to 4,22,240 units in November 2020 as compared to 4,03,223 units sold in the same month last year.
